Since its establishment in 2003, the company has focused on the setup of the right quality system. In 2010, STONKAM passed IATF16949: 2016 international quality management system certification. Since then, it has strictly adhered to the quality control and attached great importance to the continuous and effective operation of the quality management system: every year, internal quality management system audit will be carefully completed. Specifically, it requires every step in the product design, raw material control, production process, factory inspection, etc., to strictly follow the IATF 16949: 2016 quality management system standards. And STONKAM strictly controls and ensures the excellence and stability of products by using advanced quality management tools such as Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control (APQP), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode and Consequence Analysis (PFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Production Part Approval Program (PPAP), combined with information system tools including PDM and ERP. In this way, each product quality can be guaranteed.

In order to further improve the product quality, STONKAM has accelerated the pace of product testing projects and increased investment in advanced production equipment and reliability testing equipment. For example, in 2017, the company has kept pace with the times and built a test center for in-vehicle electronic products with a relatively complete test project in South China. It can conduct product inspection projects such as wire rocking, salt spray, vibration test, high/low temperature, high and low temperature storage, ESD and pulse experiments. Then in 2018, STONKAM established a dust-free workshop, and introduced test equipment such as integrated tester, IP69K waterproof test box, shielding box and air compressor, which provided strong support for improving product quality.
“Details determine whether you will succeed or fail”. STONKAM has strict standards and requirements for the control and improvement of product quality details. Even for tiny screws, the quality is expected to be well guaranteed. For example, from 2013, the company has made adjustments to the suppliers every year. By visiting suppliers, STONKAM strictly checks their quality inspection system and the standardization of quality inspection, and finally signs the Quality Agreement with those suppliers that meet all the standards. In the procurement of production materials, it continuously adjusts the import process every year and shortens the import material cycle. Meanwhile, the production material supply chain will be upgraded in an all-round way, and the electronic material procurement channels will be transferred from the trade suppliers to the first-level agents. The batches and origin of the materials will be closely tracked and monitored, in order to control the quality of raw materials and reduce the risk.
